Riverside
Park does not have a minimum stay requirement for weekends or
holidays. We understand schedules are different and we want to be as
flexible as necessary to support our guest's recreational plans.

Riverside Park Campground is a 6 acre, 120 site campground dedicated to
providing our guests with a fun and relaxing summer vacation in Wells, Maine.
We are located less than three minutes from area beaches in both Wells and
Kennebunk and conveniently located on the
Shoreline Trolley System
between
Ogunquit,
Wells,
York,
and
Kennebunk; Kennebunkport, and Sanford. We are
surrounded by the wonderful Maine coast line and natural surroundings provided
by the Wells National Estuarine
Research Reserve at Laudholm Farm and headquarters to the
Rachel Carson
National Wildlife Preserve which are located less than a mile from our
location. Come and explore southern Maine by spending a
weekend, a week or an entire summer with us. For a quick overview of our

In March 2007, our family purchased Riverside Park Campground from long-time
owners Frank and Annette Thomas. Having spent our entire family
life camping, we understand the value that spending time living together in
close quarters, sharing responsibilities for tasks and chores, and requiring
dependence on each other creates a valued family experience while allowing
families to travel in an economical manner. We hope to
help other families have this opportunity when they bring their children,
grandchildren or
significant others to our Park whether in a tent, pop-up, camping trailer or
recreation vehicle. We know that the memories we have experienced as a
family have never left us and we hope that others have that experience too.
That is our goal as a family and pet-friendly destination.
